Shipping and returns

The dispatch of purchased products will generally take place within 5 business days of order confirmation.*
For deliveries to Italy, San Marino and Vatican City, shipping costs €20 for orders under €150 and is free for orders of €150 or more. For deliveries to the other European destinations served by our online store, shipping costs €30 for orders under €350 and is free for orders of €350 or more. Shipping rates depend on the delivery country, regardless of the language selected on the website.
Delivery times may be subject to delays during holiday periods; carriers do not make deliveries, for example, but not limited to, on the days 12/25 – 01/06 and 08/01 – 08/21, and on weekends.

At the time of delivery, the presence of the Customer or a trusted person is required to check that the packaging is intact and clean, and that the products received correspond to what is stated in the Order. In the event of visible defects, such as incorrect quantity and/or incorrect product and/or damaged packaging, CaterinaB will ask the Customer or their authorized representative to note the aforementioned anomalies on the transport document and to contact CaterinaB at the following email address: info@caterinab.it

In the event that the user makes changes to the standard shipping/delivery (especially if they have the package left without a signature), Caterina B is relieved of any liability in the event of damage/theft.

 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Consumer is granted the right to withdraw from any contract concluded pursuant to these "Conditions of Sale", without any penalty, within a period of 14 (fourteen) days starting from the day of receipt of the ordered Products, for any reason and without having to provide any justification for their decision.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Consumer must send the Seller, within the aforementioned 14 (fourteen) day period, their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an explicit declaration sent to the e-mail address indicated by the Seller, or by using the standard withdrawal form, or, for orders concluded through the Site, by using the appropriate online withdrawal function, if available.

For orders concluded through the Site, the Consumer may also exercise withdrawal via the online function accessible: (i) from their customer account; or (ii) in the case of a purchase made without registration or via quick checkout, through the "View Order" link/button contained in the order confirmation, selecting the items they intend to return from there.

The use of the online withdrawal function is an optional and non-exclusive method of exercising the right of withdrawal. The Consumer's right to exercise withdrawal via the standard withdrawal form or any other explicit declaration of the decision to withdraw from the contract remains unaffected.

For products made to measure or clearly personalized, the right of withdrawal is excluded pursuant to Art. 59, paragraph 1, letter c) of the Consumer Code.

Nevertheless, on a voluntary basis and outside of the withdrawal guaranteed by the Consumer Code, the Seller agrees to the return of personalized orders, at a cost of €40 charged to the Customer.

 

To facilitate the exercise of the Right of Withdrawal, the Seller provides the Consumer with a specific Form to be used for the communication of Withdrawal. The use of the "Right of Withdrawal Form" is not mandatory for the withdrawal procedure, as sending any explicit declaration to the Seller's contact channels or using the online withdrawal function available on the Site is sufficient..
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, all payments received in relation to the Product for which the right of withdrawal has been exercised will be refunded, including shipping costs in an amount equal to the most economical shipping method offered by CaterinaB. The refund will be made by the Seller using the same payment method used by the Consumer for the initial transaction, unless the Consumer expressly requests, in the withdrawal communication, the use of another payment method among those made available by CaterinaB. In any case, the Consumer will not incur any costs as a result of such a refund.
In the event of Withdrawal, the transport costs related to the return of the Product will be borne by CaterinaB; the return of the Product will be carried out by the Consumer under their complete care and responsibility. The Product subject to withdrawal must be returned properly packed in its original packaging, in perfect condition, not ruined or damaged, and without manifest signs of use other than those of normal testing. It must be equipped with all accessories, instructions for use, supporting documentation, and transport documents.

The Consumer shall return the goods without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date on which they communicated the withdrawal.

The Consumer, pursuant to current legislation, will be responsible only for the decrease in value of the Product resulting from handling it in a way other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the Product.
The Consumer must ensure they take reasonable measures to safeguard the Product.
Any retailers present in the Italian territory cannot accept returns or make exchanges of Products purchased through this Site.
CaterinaB, pursuant to and for the purposes of Art. 56 of the Consumer Code as amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/2014, reserves the right to withhold the refund until it has received the Product returned following the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
The refund will be made within 14 days from the day on which CaterinaB was informed of the Consumer's decision to withdraw from the contract; the right to withhold the refund until the returned Product has been received or until the Consumer has demonstrated that they have returned the Product, whichever is earlier, remains unaffected.

If the Consumer uses the online withdrawal function, the Seller will transmit without undue delay a confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium, including the content of the withdrawal declaration and the date and time of its transmission.

In the event that the delivery of the Product does not take place within 30 (thirty) business days from the forwarding of the Order Confirmation email by the Seller to the Consumer, or from another date otherwise agreed upon with the same, the Buyer shall have the right to withdraw from the Order and CaterinaB will proceed with the refund of the price.

Exclusions of the right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded, where applicable to the products actually sold, in particular in the following cases:
a) supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized;
b) supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
c) supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for hygienic reasons or related to health protection and have been opened after delivery.
